Here are a range of comments from people who’ve attended With Life in Mind workshops, and what they might say to others thinking about coming along. Here are some of their comments:

Can I take this opportunity to thank you so much for helping me and for introducing me to this therapy that has changed my life.  I will be recommending you for sure ! M.G., Portsmouth

This is a great opportunity to take some time and think about your life, and make some small changes that can make a big difference. R.M., Southsea

It’s always pleasing to be able to have a good long time to tell your story and to have someone listening positively. I felt your concentration on me was very powerful. I would recommend this programme to others, yes, but I would think hard about who would benefit most. I know people who go round and round with their problems. I feel this method can help you gather your thoughts and express them clearly. It’s a good system for practical living and helping to maintain mental-well-being.  S.O., Guildford

Do it! It doesn’t matter where you feel you are with your mental health, this programme will help you make improvements that you didn’t know were possible. The programme helped me to get out of a rut of negative thinking. It helped me identify some goals and to achieve them. It helped me to reflect on where I am in my life at the moment, what my values are and what is important to me.” L.C., Southsea

Managed my composure 75% better which has meant less stress within the household. Attitude of Gratitude brought to the forefront of my mind, quashing complacency. Easier to look after myself and block out distractions that may cause me stress/feeling overwhelmed. M.H., Alton

Carolyn is great fun and very easy to work with. Her great knowledge of the subject area makes her a huge resource to tap into while her relaxed manner makes all the time I’ve spent with her enjoyable and greatly productive at the same time. S.S., Portsmouth

Carolyn’s calm and relaxed manner made it so easy  to gain so much from the workshop. S.C., Rowlands Castle

An informative and thought-provoking presentation followed by a practical session of mind-gym and relaxation exercises.  I found the group very welcoming and felt relaxed and comfortable taking part in the practical exercises.  The workshop has laid the foundation for me to carry on with the techniques and hopefully improve my mental well-being. I feel that the session was very beneficial to me and I look forward to exploring the subjects raised at future sessions and learning more about relaxation and mindfulness techniques. A.G., Waterlooville
